Copenhagen Teaser

Invisibles in Copenhagen ..... sensory experiences of architecture and accessibility!

As mentioned today the program is almost ready, just needs a few minor details, but at this point there are a few important dates and times to note in your planner:

Monday March 8
We start the study trip at 10.00AM meeting at Nørreport station in central Cph
We will be visiting the Snoeuzelhaus in Hellerup, learning about the sensory stimulation theraphy theories of the Snoeuzel and trying it out on our own bodies.

We kick off the study trip with an evening of classic concert in on of the icon projects of Nordic Functionalism: the former Danish Radio Concert Hall, so mark the evening in your calender.

Tuesday is a full day on bike in Ørestaden and Amager Strand

Wednesday starts at Louisiana and goes into the evening too as we are visiting Force4 architects from 5:00PM to 7:30PM

Thursday is a full day bus trip outside of Copenhagen

Friday is on site visits in Cph city and a visit to MLM architects ... as well as Dinner at Camilla's place - you bring the wine, I'll take care of dinner. Welcome drinks are served at 6:30PM

Saturday you are on you own all day

Sunday we go north of Cph to study Sarah Hadid and Finn Juhl amongst other projects

Monday we'll stay in Cph, visiting a senior home as well as leaving you time to go back (or forward) to things you want to see more of ... and finally

Tuesday march 16th we'll stay at the absolute center of Cph visiting various sensory stimulating museums and the Danish Architecture Center (DAC) ending around 3:00PM

A complete and detailed program including an assignment brief for your 'study trip group assignment' will follow as soon as possible. In the mean time please make sure to remember that you are responsible for having your own insurance while on the trip ....
